FOF began as a Sunday School class of about 8 families wanting to start a contemporary church in rural southeast Ohio with the goal to “Transform Lives by Serving Jesus Christ.”
Fellowship of Faith held its first service in the Spring Valley Cinema in Gallipolis in 2003, and immediately began to grow. In 2005, the church purchased 40 acres of land just outside of Rio Grande, Ohio, and the new church building opened in 2008. Since that time, FOF has experienced ups and downs, but the members continue to look toward the future to see how God will use Fellowship of Faith to transform the community with the message of Jesus Christ.
Today, the church is lead by Pastor Jamie Sisson, who started as an associate pastor at FOF in 2005. His brother Steve Sisson is our lead Worship Pastor, who joined us in 2008. Together, they work with our leadership to protect and build on the original mission given to those few obedient families in 2003.
